A week before the ride, our SAG (Support And Gear) driver along with his wife, drove the entire distance of our 635 mile ride and personally delivered a small green tote bag that contained info about Wycliffe and about our ride to every single church along the route. As we ride, we pray for these churches as we pass them but today was a special surprise. A church in southern Georgia had erected a hand made sign welcoming our group of 7 cyclists. We stopped, personally autographed the sign and had our pictures taken. Each church along the route, more than 225 of them, or, about one every 3 miles, has the God-given potential to make a difference in the global task of Bible Translation. We're extremely grateful for each and every church that is involved in God's Commission of reaching every tribe, and tongue, and language, and people.

I'm jealous! Wish I was along for the ride...
Mornin,
My prayer group prayed for all of you yesterday morning. I am so glad you are halfway! Stay tough, Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. 2 Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. 3 Consider him who endured such opposition from sinful men, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart. 9 Endure hardship as discipline; God is treating you as sons. 12 Therefore, strengthen your feeble arms and week knees 13 Make level paths for your feet, so that the lame may not be disabled, but healed (Hebrews 12:1-3, 9,12,13).

Congratulations on the halfway point. We've been praying for you and letting others know too. We've specifically been praying for good cycling weather. You've not mentioned this so assume we have our answer. PTL!

Another flat, Doug? The flat master rules! ROFL.
Seriously, I used to get a whole lot of flats until I got a better wheel liner. Could that help?
Ed - looks like things are going well. Praying for safety and for lives to be changed for Jesus through the work that you are doing. Keep up the good work and I'm a little jealous of all the riding you are getting in.

I'm using Cont Gatorskins and still I get flats. I'm ready to try wheel liners, slime, actually I'm ready for solid rubber!
God bless Steve.
